Among all the things you can “DIY” with your car, changing into a spare tyre is possibly the easiest; requiring no technical knowledge but only a degree of tactfulness and lots of elbow grease.
Seeing as there hasn’t been an effective avenue for most young drivers in Malaysia to learn this, leaving most stranded at odd locations (and sometimes at even odder times) and at the mercy of “parental support” or roadside assistance that is usually some time and distance away, here’s a quick and brief guide in the first of many Auto DIY episodes which will be aired every Wednesday on for the following weeks to come.
Watch as Jasmine (inset) demonstrates while Johnson explains, step-by-step, on how to change your car’s tyre, with every possible precaution taken into account. Before all else, this video will also highlight the basic tools you’ll need to have in the boot at all times, in the event of a flat tyre.
Be sure to also watch till the end of the video for useful tips on how to reuse your old tyres – should you decide to keep them – and not to mention, for the usual Penisverlangerung-At bloopers.
