The new Formula 1 season will see significant changes – more distinctively with a new logo, the departure of shark fins and T-Wings at the rear and possibly the most profound, the Halo.

It’s a cockpit protection structure that will further improve driver safety in the event of an accident. Also, it should help deflect debris from hitting the driver’s head. It’s unclear whether it’s an eye sore for the drivers but it has caused an outcry among fans as it restricts their view of the drivers.

So far, according to reports, it hasn’t been an issue for the driver’s and their line of sight and the has decided to give us a taste of what it’s like behind the wheel.

Formula 1 cars this since, as it has been since 2014, are equipped with 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engines capable of churning out more than 700 hp alongside a sophisticated electrical system. It can also rev up to 15,000 rpm, almost twice as high as your standard commuter.
