This is one very disturbing video advertisement for a car

We’ve all seen our fair share of car advertisement videos. They’re always upbeat, exciting and explosive (sometimes literally) but whatever it is, they’ve always made us anticipate the sight of the car in the flesh.

This one though, is a special case; and not necessarily in a good way. There’s no other way to say it – we’ve never seen anything like this before. It revolves around the exciting Hyundai i30 N – a 2.0-litre turbocharged fire-breather with an output of 272 hp with 353 Nm of torque.

We’re well aware by now what an exhilarating package the i30 N is through foreign media and this over-done video, suffice to say, sings all the wrong tunes of a thrilling hot hatch.

It just looks like an awful introduction to a black and white bondage film that will make you cringe from start to finish. Watch it and you’ll know what we’re on about.

Regularly spend countless hours online looking at cars and parts I can't afford to buy. How a car makes you feel behind the wheel should be more important than the brand it represents - unless resale value is your thing.
